About Me

My name is Sharnie Morrison and I am a fully qualified, traditional acupuncturist.  I hold the Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture, a three-year degree accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board which was awarded to me by The Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa.  My training was extensive covering all aspects of Chinese medicine and acupuncture theory with a focus on the five-element approach.

I also hold a Diploma in Fertility, Obstetrics and Gynaecology from The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.

I started my career with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree which I feel enhance all aspects of my treatment, enabling me to use my knowledge and love of science and Chinese medicine to provide a specifically tailored and holistic approach for all my patients.

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to the Council’s Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct.  British Acupuncture Council members are also registered with the Professional Standards Authority which is a government body set up to regulate health and social care providers and is accountable to Parliament.

My clinic is fully licenced by Stockport Metropolitan Council and I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance cover.
